There will be No Public Visitation

Mr. Anthie Lee Pitts, the son of the late Norman Pitts, Sr. and Estelle Pitts was born on August 30, 1934 in Salem, Alabama.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Emma Jean Pitts, Melvin Pitts and Gloria Nelams.

He was united in Holy Matrimony with Mary Hugley Pitts.

Anthie was an Auto Mechanic and enjoyed gardening, laughing, reminiscing about good times with his brothers and sisters and telling jokes with family and friends.

His legacy and memory will be cherished by his wife Mary; children, Margaret (Larry), Eugene (Veronica), Jeffery, Veronica, Lisa, and Ronald (Eusherla); sisters, Emma Jane (William) and  Stella; brothers, Norman, John, Elisha (Debra) and Allen; stepchildren, Mildred, Melanie (Willie), Ivan (Nicole), Akemi (Karelton), and Alexious (Nakia); nineteen grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren, twenty-six step grandchildren; sixty-two step great grandchildren; nine step great-great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
