Obituary

Funeral Services will be held 3:30 pm Saturday, December 28, 2024 Bethel AME Church. Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Beverly Lewis was born April 16, 1964 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Homer Lewis and late Lillie M. Spivey Lewis.

She attended Mt. Olive High School in Ft. Mitchell, Alabamaand worked at Douglas Lomason (D&L) in Phenix City, Alabama.

She confessed her faith in God at an early age and united with the Bethel A.M.E. Church.

Beverly, more affectionately known as "Bev", departed this life on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Piedmont Midtown in Columbus, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jarvis Ford, twosisters, Carrie Lewis and Dorothy Lews and 2 brothers, Willie Lewis and Michael Lewis.

The memories of this loving spirit will be cherished by herdevoted daughters, Yolanda Lewis and Syneeta Lewis Thomas (Rodriquez) and son, Albert Lewis all of Phenix City.  Her grandchildren:  Samya Johnson (Deondre) of Columbus, GA, Jarkavious Thomas, Makelle Lewis, Makayla Lewis, Saniya Thomas and Germiya Moffett all of Phenix City, AL: Greatgrandchildren:  Kyleigh Gresham, Khaysen English, Kennedy Johnson of Columbus, GA and Kloudy Thomas of Phenix City, AL;  sisters:  Betty Davis and Georgia Joseph bothof Phenix City, Alabama; one brother, Wallace Lewis of Phenix City, Alabama; one aunt, Dorothy Spivey of Phenix; two specialfriends, Ruby Jackson and Nikki Richardson and host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
