Visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
Courtney Allen was born on February 8, 1992, in Bullock County to James and Mary Ann Allen. He departed life on June 17, 2023. He confessed Christ at the age of 17. He was a member of First Tabernacle Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. James M. Pirtle.
He attended Central High School and was an employee of Circle K. He was well known for his personality and for his ability to make anyone smile. He enjoyed cooking, showcasing his talents on the grill, music, dancing, spending time with his two nieces, friends, and overall enjoying his life.
Courtney was preceded in death by his grandfather Willie Allen. He leaves to cherish his parents: James and Mary Allen; two sisters, Abrina Allen, and Asia (Antwan) Booker; two nieces Summer and Jazlyn Booker all of Phenix City, AL. Paternal grandmother, Della Feagins of Seale, AL. Maternal grandparents; Peggy Goshey, Irving Gill, and Jimmie Goshey Sr. of Phenix City, AL. Four aunts; Aretha Oneal of Seale AL, Victoria (Richard) Gordey of Fort Mitchell, AL, Veronica Allen of Phenix City, AL, and Amanda (Tyrone) Jordan of Hatchechubbee, AL. Five uncles; Jimmie (Renee) Goshey Jr. of Clearwater, FL, Jermaine (Natashia) Allen of Phenix,City, AL, Darin (Ashante) Allen of Columbus, GA, Milton (Sharon) Allen of Phenix City, AL, and Kevin Allen of Columbus, GA. He also leaves to cherish a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends.
