Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 12 noon at Mount Olive Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, June 7, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Danny Lewis was born May 9, 1975 in Columbus, Georgia to Nora (Rufus) Harris and the late Jimmy Lee McCoy.

Danny joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church at an early age, and was a 1993 graduate of Russell County High School.  He later joined Beulah Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, and was employed as a manager for the McDonald's Corporation for more than twenty years.

On June 2, 2024, Danny Lewis entered into Eternal Rest.  In addition to his father, Jimmy Lee McCoy, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henery Lee Mathews, Sr., grandmother, Eva Mae Mathews and brother, Rufus Harris, Jr.

Mr. Danny Lewis leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and supportive parents, Nora and Rufus Harris of Lato, Alabama; one sister, Stacey (Jonathan) Screws; two devoted nieces, Lexus and Mia of Lato, Alabama; two great aunts, Lucy Simmons and Sadie Simmons, both of Lato, Alabama; and a host of loving family and friends.
