Eley Autry-Lee Harris, Jr. was born May 10, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois to Barbara Harris and the late Eley Archie Harris, Sr. He departed this life on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

He was introduced to Christ by his late grandmother Minister Lula Mae Grimes.

Eley joined the United States Army on November 3, 1981 and retired after twenty-one and a half years of service on April 30, 2003.

Harry-O as he was affectionately called, was an avid Chicago sports fan.

In a addition to his father and grandmother, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Gail Harris and brother Wendell Harris.

Eley leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Tameika Lee, Brittany Harris and Janay Harris; six grandchildren, Josh, Jada, Yasmin "Christian", Chrysilla "Christina", Taryn and Raymond; his mother Barbara Harris; one brother Andre Harris; two sisters, Tara Harris and Triena Harris; special friends, Ronnie Campbell and Eddie Phillips, a loyal supporter Tonnette Harris; several siblings; and a host of other  relatives and loved ones.
