Mrs. Geraldine Lipscomb Perryman was born on April 15, 1957 in Phenix City, Alabama to Mrs. Sarah Jean VanBuren Lipscomb and the belated Mr. John L. Lipscomb, Sr.  Preceding her in death, her husband, Mr. William Perryman Sr.

Mrs. Geraldine Lipscomb Perryman attended Central High School (Class of 1975) in Phenix City, AL.  She retired from the administration department at Jack T. Rutledge Prison (Dept. of Corrections) in Columbus, Georgia.  She was mostly remembered for her years of employment at the former Seale Road Bay Station in Phenix City, Alabama.

Mrs. Geraldine Lipscomb Perryman transitioned from this life on May 7, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.  Geraldine was fondly known as "Byrd" by her family and friends.  She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Villula, Alabama and its Senior Usher Board.
