Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Godfrey Sampler was born May 16, 1961 to the late Tommie Sampler and Mary Woodruff in Choccolocco, Alabama. He departed this life on Saturday, January 28, 2023.

Godfrey was KNOWN for his love of a Coke and would chase you across town for one. Though he lived life with challenges, he was fun loving and an all around great person. He will be missed greatly by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his brothers.

Godfrey leaves to cherish his memory his Mama Mamie Sampler; his sister Maralyn and her husband Carl Dotson, Sr; and he leaves behind a plethora of nieces and neph-ews, and close family friends.
