Mr. Harry McCoy Hill, Sr. was born April 30, 1937 to the late Curtis Clinton Hill and Alice Alford Hill in Russell County, Alabama.  He was one of seven children born to their union.  He departed this life on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Piedmont Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

Harry was educated in the schools of Russell County, Alabama and employed with Robertson Paving Company.  He enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of his many animals.  He was a "real countryman."

Harry was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Barbra Dean Kelly Hill.

In addition to his parents and wife, Harry was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Clinton Hill; grandson, James Richardson Jr. and a granddaughter, Mariah Leann Johnson.

Harry leaves to cherish his memory eleven children, Debra Spivey, KaTina Hill, Lisa Hill, Kelly Hill, Tracy Hill, Jennifer Cooper, Etta Bellamy, Willie Jones, Larry Jones, Harry (Lavette) Hill, Jr. and Tony Hill, Sr.; nineteen grandchildren; one sister, Marva Bellamy; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a special friend Christine Tyson.
