Mrs. Helen Williams Callier graced this life with her presence on August 5, 1935 in Columbus, Georgia to the late John and Emma Williams. She departed this life on Friday, September 24, 2021.
Helen accepted Christ and was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. She was a 1954 graduate of Spencer High School and devotedly attended the class reunions with the love of her life who she met there and married, Willie Callier. To this union was born four children.
She was employed with Muscogee County School District and worked at Cusseta Road Elementary School from 1970 to 1996. She cherished her relationship with each of the students there and they loved her in return.
Helen loved gardening, shopping, decorating and attending social club functions. Her "most favorite time" of the year was Christmas and she decorated until her heart was content.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother John (Martha) Williams, Jr.
Helen leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving husband Mr. Willie Callier, Sr.; four children, Corneitha (Wayne) Brooks, Vicki (Rodney) Walker, Regina (Rudy, Jr.) Allen, and Willie (Renata) Callier, Jr.; five grandchildren, Rudy Allen III, Rodney Walker, Jr., Ryan Walker, Justin Allen, and Cameron Brooks; two great-grandchildren, Rodney Walker, III and Callie Brooks; close longtime friends, Della Bursey, Evelyn Byrd, Ollie Johnson, Edna Valentine and Martha Neal; and a host of other relatives and loved ones.
