Brother James W. Allen was born April 4, 1926 in Russell County, Alabama to the late Minnie L. Walton and Richard Allen. He departed this life on Sunday, July 10, 2022

He confessed Christ at a young age and joined Uchee Chapel AME Church where he served faithfully.

He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Queen E. Daniel Allen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son Willie James Allen; six brothers, Arthur, Richard, Roy, Willie Tim, E. C. Walton, and Michael Mercer; and five sisters, Loise King, Cherry Mercer, Mattie Harley, Quiney Allen, and Louise Mobley.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his precious wife Queen E. Allen; two sons, Vorocker A. Daniel of Jacksonville, Florida and Boyd M. Daniel (Ivy) of Aberdeen, Maryland; 7 grandchildren Georgette Ware (Wayne), Tadarriel Arthur (Alisha) of Spangdahlem Germany, Tionte Arthur, Jakeithiyan Daniel, and Janeisceya Daniel of Jacksonville, Florida, Micah Daniel of Aberdeen, Maryland, and Tyree Daniel of Tampa, Florida; 5 great grandchildren; three brothers-in-law, Authur King of Chicago, IL, George King of Denver, CO, and Johnny King of Omaha, NE; five sisters-in-law, Laura McKissic of Phenix City, AL; Betty J. Daniel and Dorothy Daniel, both of Columbus, GA; Sarah Daniel and Minnie Walton of Phenix City, Al; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
