Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am EDT  Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. There will be no public viewing.

Mr. John Lorand Lipscomb, Jr. was born July 30, 1960 in Phenix City, Alabama to the belated Mr. John L. Lipscomb, Sr. and the belated Mrs. Sarah Jean VanBuren Lipscomb.  Preceding him in death, his dear sisters, Mrs. Geraldine Lipscomb Perryman and Mrs. Rethel Maddox and his loving partner, Sallbrina.  He passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025.

Mr. John Lorand Lipscomb, Jr. attended Mount Olive High School (Class of 1978) in Seale, Alabama.  He served in the United States of America military.  He resided in Stuttgart, Germany the majority of his life and returned home to Phenix City, Alabama.  His sense of humor was contagious and he truly was a globetrotter.  He will always be affectionately remembered as "Ran".

Mr. John Lorand Lipscomb, Jr. leaves to cherish his memories one son, Lorand Sèdjro Lipscomb and two daughters, Chiara Lipscomb and Talia Lipscomb, all of Stuttgart, Germany; one sister, Pamela (James) Cousins, Phenix City, AL; two brothers, Donell Lipscomb, Phenix City, AL, and Darwin (Bridgette) Lipscomb, Seale, AL; a very dear and loving companion, Carolyn Long-Brown: a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, aunts and friends.
