r. Johnnie Lee James, affectionately known as "Drac", was born September 27, 1961 to the late Maggie Mae James and John Tolbert. He was also lovingly cared for by the late Doc and Margaret Hall.
Drac was a free spirit who loved to joke and laugh. His favorite saying was "Ayeeeeeeeeeeee…"
On Thursday, August 12, 2021, his life's journey came to an end and he transitioned to eternal life. In addition to his parents and the Halls, he was preceded in death by his sister Jacqueline Deloney; a brother James Franklin and a niece Kendra Franklin.
Left to cherish Drac's memory are his son Sterling "Snoop" Davis of Phenix City, Alabama; five sisters, Yawerent Gordon, Juanita (Gilbert) Williams, Christine Franklin, and Felicia (Rudolph) Martin, all of Phenix City, Alabama and Leslie (Marvin) Parker of Atlanta, Georgia; six brothers, Roger (Sonja) Franklin, Albert (Brenda) James, Charles (Thelma) Franklin, Anthony Franklin of Atlanta, Edward Jenkins, and Fredrick (Pearl) Franklin; three step-sisters and three step-brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
