Mr. Larry Morgan was born June 5, 1954 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late John Prather and Beatrice Morgan Pease.  Mr. Morgan departed this life early Thursday morning on March 17, 2022 when God dispatched his angels to whisper His call that only Larry could answer.

Larry confessed Christ at an early age and joined New Central Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama.  He was educated in the Phenix City School System where he attended Central High School and then later joined the United States Army in December 1972.  He worked at several jobs after his military career.

Larry loved his children and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He loved to cook, dance, and have a good time.  He was always the life of the party.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife Bernice Morgan; four sons, Recco Young of Columbus, Georgia, Altouro Willis of Phenix City, Alabama, Antonio Young of Columbus, Georgia and Marquentis Wright (Chandra) of Salem, Alabama; two daughters, Sophia Davis and Rhonda Young, both of Phenix City, Alabama; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother John Prather, Jr. of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one sister Pastor Patricia Pugh (George) of Columbus, Georgia; three brothers-in-law, Larry Young, Robert Young (Elizabeth) and Tony Young (Robin), all of Phenix City, Alabama; two sisters-in-law, Doris Massey (Randolph) and Mary Lane, both of Columbus, Georgia; two uncles, Charlie Morgan and Lindsey Ashford, both of Phenix City, Alabama; a special cousin Calvin Perry; and a host of other relatives and friends.
