Obituary

The life for Lucille Porch Dixon began on January 2, 1945 in Phenix City, Alabama. She was born to the late Mr. Otis Porch Sr. her father and Mrs. Bertha Mahogany, her mother.

She accepted Christ at an early age and became a Christian at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama. Lucille attended Phenix City public schools. She was a retired employeewith Lawyer Milton and Elsa Hirsch in Columbus, Georgia.

Mrs. Dixon gained her wings on Thursday September 9, 2021 at her home in Phenix City, Alabama. She was a very quiet and private person in her later years. Her son, Mickey Alvin Porch, her mother, Bertha Mahogany Porch, her father Otis Porch Sr. and two brothers Johnny Porch Sr. and Eddie Porch, all of Phenix City, Alabama, preceded her in death. Two sisters, Bertha Mae Wilson and Ladele Porch, both of Phenix City, Alabama.

To cherish her memories, she leaves a granddaughter, Gabriel Deshay Porch, two great granddaughters Kayden Daniels and Angel Eubanks, all of Phenix City, Alabama; one grandsonVincente' Djuan Simmons of Montgomery, Alabama; two sisters Queenl Porch Smith (Cigar) of Detroit, Michigan, Yvette Porch Williams of Columbus, Georgia; and one brother, Otis Bruce Porch of Columbus, Georgia., three aunts Louise King, Mary None (Sanford) and Martha Hood all of Phenix City, Alabama.; one uncle Roosevelt "Buddy" Mahogany of Phenix City, Alabama.; and a devoted Goddaughter Michelle Carter of Phenix City, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly
