Visitation will be Monday, October 17, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mary Frances (Yea) Long daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Edwards was born on January 12, 1942 in Russell County, Alabama.  She attended public School in Phenix City, Alabama.  Sister Long accepted Christ at an early age and joined Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL. Sister Long was an active member of the church until her health declined.  She worked for Sunshine Biscuits for over 25 years retiring in 1996.

Sister Long was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Willie James Long in 1960.  They were married until his death in 1989.  To this union two sons were born.  She was preceded in death by her parents and only brother Jesse Edwards.

She leaves to cherish her memory; two sons James Long, Phenix City, AL; Willie (Carla) Long, Fortson, GA; Grandchildren: Marquarius, Ashley, Kaylen, Joshua and Kelsey; Great grandson, Jamari; Godson, Rob Spivery; Niece, Shavonda Truitt.  Yea  never met a stranger so she leaves a host of relatives and friends that will cherish the sweet memories she has left us with.
