Visitation will be Friday, February 4, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Mary Lou Rivers was born September 3, 1932 in Russell County, Alabama to the late Rainey Rivers Lattimor and John Williams.  She departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2022 in Columbus, Georgia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Henry Jerome Rivers.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Mattie Rivers and Patricia Rivers-Davis, both of Phenix City, Alabama and Shirley Rivers of Columbus, Georgia; one sister Lorraine (Thomas) Wesley of Detroit, Michigan, and a dedicated friend David Louder; two grandsons, Bruce Tremell Davis of Memphis, Tennessee and Justin Thomas of Phenix City, Alabama; five granddaughters, Briana Rivers, Brenaysha Rivers, both of Columbus, Georgia, Corayell Rivers (Phillip), Rashaudalyn Rivers (Trevon) and Zymezia Rivers, all of Birmingham, Alabama; nine great-grandchildren, Dyniah Davis, Delaney Davis, Yana Rivers, Treviyanna Kendrick, Trenya Kendrick, Tremia Kendrick, Phillip Fletcher, Jr., Timothy Fletcher, and Tristian Kendrick; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family that she truly loved.
