Funeral Services for Mr. Norman Jerome Morten will be held 11:00 am EDT Saturday, August 15, 2026 in the chapel of Battle & Battle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Edmonds Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2026 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Norman J. Morten was born on February 27, 1968 in Columbus, Georgia to Annie Mae and Johnny Morten, Jr. He graciously entered rest on August 9, 2026 into the Presence of our Lord God.

Norman brought a bright smile, pure love and a joyous child-like spirit to everyone who was around.

He was preceded in death by his father Johnny Morten, Jr.

Norman is survived by his devoted mother, Annie Mae Morten; his siblings, Stevie Morten, Carolyn (William) McCorkle, Curtis Morten, Darren (Kelinda) Morten, and Michelle Luke; and a host of relatives to include aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones.
