Patrick Deon Tarver was born January 18, 1974, the beloved son of George Tarver and the late Ruby Jean Tarver. He left this world too soon on July 8, 2026,
Patrick attended Central High School, where he began forging lifelong friendships and developing a love for learning. His career, as a construction worker, at Aptim in Sulphur, Louisiana, was marked by his dedication and hard work. Colleagues and friends knew Patrick for his quick wit, warm smile and hearty laugh. He was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood and his kindness and generosity touched countless lives.
Outside of work, Patrick found joy in the simpler things in life. He loved fishing, a pastime that allowed him to find peace and tranquility amid life's chaos.
Music was another passion of his; whether listening or playing, it filled his soul with happiness. Patrick also enjoyed dancing, a talent he shared with family and friends at countless gatherings, where he made everyone feel welcome and valued.
He was predeceased by his loving mother, Ruby J. Tarver; devoted cousin, Continaer N. Evans; as well as his maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
His warm spirit and infectious smile will be dearly missed by his surviving family, including his father, George Tarver; loving daughters, Shakira Smith and Shaneque Lewis; sons, Kaison Tarver and Kobi Tarver. He also leaves behind his adoring two grandchildren; four aunts, Essie M. Robinson, Annie M. Robinson (Virgil), Rosie Faniel, and Geraline Tarver; three god-aunts, Barbara Weeks, Shirley Thompson, and Wanda Thorn (Kevin). Patrick's memory will be cherished by four uncles, John L. Robinson (Mary), Jimmy L. Robinson (Carolyn), Daniel Tarver, and W.C. Tarver; god-uncles, Tommy Woods, and Mike Woods (Kim); a beloved friend TeArsha Ware; and a host of loving cousins, close friends, and other relatives will remember him fondly.
