Obituary

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm EDT Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Ollie Mae Williams was born on June 6, 1934 to the late Alice Mathews Epps and Emmanuel Parker in Lato, Alabama.

She loved the Lord and served as a Matron, Deaconess and a loyal member of the choir under the leadership of Pastor Hovet Dixon.

Mrs. Williams departed this life's journey on March 18, 2026, peacefully in her sleep.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Willie George Williams, Sr., two brothers: Lugene Mathews and Tommy Mathews.

Other than being a wife, mother and homemaker, Mrs. Williams was employed at Peg's Bakery and Columbus Foundry. She answered her calling to attend school to receive her certification as a CNA where she provided home healthcare.

Mrs. Williams cherished and loved spending time with her family. She leaves to carry on her legacy four children: Bobby Ann Williams, Alice Marie Williams, Willie George Willams, Jr. and Wendie Joyce Humphrey; a sister-in-law, Florie Mathews; twenty grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church, family who loved her dearly.
