Robert Jermaine Woods was born January 13, 1978 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Robert Lee Woods and Tina Veronica Woods.  He departed this life on Monday, October 11, 2021.

He was educated in the schools of Russell County, Alabama and employed at MDV.  His passions were racetrack, football, chevy cars and spending time with his daughter, and other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, Cornelius Woods and Anthony Woods.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory his wife Emily Woods; one daughter Layla Woods; one son Amonya' Jones; one brother Rodney Woods; four uncles, Tony Woods, Reuben Woods, Michael Woods, and Joseph Junipher; six aunts, Jeanette Brown, Jessie Mae Miller, Johnnie Mae Taylor, Berniece Woods, Vickie Jones, and Alma Wilson; two sisters-in-law, Rachael Mitchell and Evelyn Jones; one brother-in-law Christopher Jones; a special friend Alan Pitts; and a host of other relatives and loved ones.
