Mr. Ronnie Leon James, 70, of Phenix City, AL was pronounced deceased on Friday, April 9 ^th 2021 at his home. He was the only child of Joe James and Mary Alice Atkins James.

He was born in Phenix City, AL on May 16 ^th , 1950. He attended South Girard School in Phenix City, AL.

Ronnie was preceded in death by both of his parents, Joe and Mary Atkins James; three uncles, Curtis Lee James, Sr. of Phenix City, AL, Jimmy Lee Atkins of Columbus, GA and Solomon Atkins of Detroit, MI.

Ronnie is survived by four aunts and one uncle , Geneva Atkins, Minnie Hubbard and Aszolene Elam of Columbus, GA, Essie Cox of Maryland and Homer (Floreece) Atkins of New Concord, OH. A dedicated friend, Imogene Brooks of Phenix City, AL and a host of other cousins and friends.

A private memorial service for the family will be held on April 24 ^th , 2021 at 11:00am.
