Mrs. Rosie Florence graced this life with her presence on March 10, 1939 in Russell County, Alabama to the late Annie B. Nixon Glenn.  She departed this life for her eternal reward on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

Rosie spent more than twenty years of her living in Jersey City, New Jersey before returning to the south to spend the rest of her days.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband David Florence; one son Ronnie Wiggen; and one sister Ann Hankerson.

Rosie leaves to cherish her memory one son Anthony (Donelle) Florence of Jersey City, New Jersey; one niece Erica Hankerson of Columbus, Georgia; two devoted cousins, Sadie Adams of Seale, Alabama and Aberty Phillips of Columbus, Georgia; and a host of family and loved ones.

As she was loved, so will she be missed.
