Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 21,2024 11:00 AM At Phillips Temple CME Church.
Mr. William Gosha Jr., a child of God, was born February 18, 1953, to the late William and Christine Gosha Sr. of Russell County, AL.
As he matriculated through school and his youthful years, he understood and accepted that this world would not be his eternal home and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Seale, Rd.
Known as Bubba, during his school years, he was a proud 1971 graduate of Central High School in Phenix City, AL.
He began his professional journey in June of 1972 and became a proud member of the United States Navy. He served 4 years and moved to the Navy Reserve. He retired with over 40 years of service from Columbus Foundry. While enjoying retirement, he loved his sports, and you could find him every Saturday during college football screaming "Roll Tide."
On the evening of Monday, May 13, 2024, William Gosha, Jr. traded in his cross for his crown and transitioned from labor to his eternal resting place surrounded by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Christine Gosha, Sr., and his daughter Krystle Nicole Gosha.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories one son, William Gosha III and a daughter, Shebah T. Capers of Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren, JaKobe T. Murray of Columbus, GA, Anthony Tre'Von Gosha of Smith Station, AL, Minister Jamorrey C. Gosha of Montgomery, AL, Ja'Michael S. Murray of Columbus, GA, Damoni Gosha of Phenix City, AL, Kailee N. Gosha of Phenix City, AL and Kaiden C. Gosha of Columbus, GA; four sisters, Cheryl Cochran of Elkmont, AL, Tawaynne (Robert) Pass of Phenix City, AL, Sonja (Cleveland) Newsome of Syracuse, New York, and Katshallim Gosha of Phenix City, AL; five brothers, Jeffery Gosha, Robert Williams of Columbus, GA, Daryl Gosha, Dwayne (Quinitina) Gosha, and Thaddeus Gosha all of Phenix City, AL.; beloved partner Tronual Bryant; and a wide range of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives along with friends.
