There will be no public viewing for Mrs. Lyles.

Mrs. Willie Mae Lyles graced this life with her presence on April 7, 1946 to the late Henry and Mary Evans.  She was called to Eternal Rest on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

Willie Mae confessed Christ at the early age of thirteen at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where she was a faithful servant in the choir, the Usher Board and in other areas of the church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Lyles Jr. and two sisters, Mary Chadwick and Louvenia Dixion.

Left to celebrate her life and legacy and cherish her memory are her sister, Henrietta Barber; three brothers, Roy (Vera) Evans, Albert Evans, and Freddie (Deborah) Evans; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; great-great nieces and great-great nephews; a brother-in-law Dennis (Alicia) Lyles; a sister-in-law      Alberta Cotton; special cousins, Annette Walton, Margie Dixion; and several friends and loved ones.
