Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Friday, May 24, 2024 at South Girad Church of Christ. Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Zara Lee Bass Parham was born August 10, 1937, to the late Alfred Bass, Sr. and Ruthie Mae Green Bass in Phenix City, Alabama.

Zara Lee confessed Jesus as her Savior and was added to South Girard Church of Christ, where she served faithfully.

Zara Lee retired from Kellogg's, formally Keebler and Sunshine Biscuit.

Zara Lee loved her family dearly especially her grandsons and did many acts of kindness for her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Riley Jones and Alfred Bass, Jr.

Zara Lee departed this life on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Henry A. Parham; her son Jerome Parham of Phenix City, AL, daughters Gillion V. Parham of Lannon, WI and Zara F. Parham  of Phenix City, AL; sister Jewel Bass Pitts of Battle Creek MI; grandsons Jhared Simpson  (Heather) of Indianapolis, IN and Quaid Simpson of Glendale, WI; beloved brother-in-law,  sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
